Woodrock Animal Shelter is a non-profit, pro-life, rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing shelter in South Africa. It shelters over 500 animals including Donkeys, Pigs, Chickens, Rabbits, Geese, Goats, Dogs and Cats.
The organisation is also passionate about education and supports the youth and guide them to advocate responsible pet ownership in all communities and become the voice of the voiceless.
Volunteers have a very important role to play in the rehabilitation programme at Woodrock Animal Rescue and become a vital part in the wellbeing of shelter dogs who spend long hours in lockdown.
Volunteers have the opportunity to walk pets ,play with them by keeping them mentally stimulated and also help with the marketing of them being adopted.
The organisation also offers various opportunities for citizens to donate, sponser with animal food and medical donations.
