Originally held on Linden’s main street, this pop-up market has outgrown its original premises and now takes place at the Johannesburg Botanical Gardens. Spread over a large, contained area of the park the market boasts more than 150 stalls plus a stage with live music.
Founded as a platform to promote local artists, designers, and artisanal food producers, The Linden Market places an emphasis on promoting small businesses, ethically and sustainably sourced materials and artisanal techniques. In addition to stalls selling hand-crafted items, unique fashion and decor, jewellery and gifts, there’s also a selection of gourmet food stalls too, plus a variety of wines and bubbly, local craft beers and craft gin pop-up bars.
