The first-ever Luxe 100 Best Awards took place at the Houghton Hotel and celebrated the best that South African hospitality has to offer.
This series of awards is an offshoot of the Luxe Restaurant Awards, which recognises the best of the restaurant industry. The Luxe 100 Best Awards aims to recognise the variety and growth of South Africa’s luxury hospitality sector including notable examples in the food, drink, location and experience categories.
Nominees were selected via industry experts and customer reviews and the winners were announced during a special event at the beginning of November, after being selected by an esteemed panel of judges.

Best Villa in South Africa: Sandcastle Luxury Villa
Best Wine Farm in South Africa: Delaire Graff Estate
Best Eco Lodge in South Africa: Grootbos – Private Nature Reserve
